“Terracalco 95 is a good product, we've been using it since 2016. This year we will be spreading it on around 300-350 ha. So far, we have converted around 600 ha with Terracalco 95. The dose we have used until now was about 600-700kg/ha. The effects we have noticed after spreading Terracalco 95 are: - The improvement of the soil pH - Higher yields compared to the fields where it hasn't been applied. “

 

 

Marian Roșca, Rosmatar SRL,  500 ha

“I can say that standing water has been greatly reduced after applying Terracalco The yield increase that we had for sun-flower, for example, was 400kg/ha, in comparison with an area in the field not treated with Terracalco, using the same crop technology. In the Spring we managed to start seeding 5 days earlier than in the untreated area in the field. The dose applied was 700kg/ha. The yield increase that we have seen is a result of several factors, such as: - a better preparation of the seedbed - the earlier seeding compared to the untreated area - improvement in the soil reaction that led to the release of nutrients. We used it first in 2017, on a 24-ha field, leaving a control area in the field. In 2018, we converted 100-ha with Terracalco, and this year, the whole area is going to be converted gradually.“

Sorin Grigore, 120 ha

“I can say that before using Terracalco, I was using up to 850kg/ha of fertiliser. In the first year I started to work with Terracalco, I have applied around 1300kg/ha, as follows: on the wheat crops I have applied one dose, right after harvesting the sunflower; - For the spring crops I applied 800kg/ha before ploughing, after which I applied another 500kg/ha. After the first year, I can say that I have managed to reduce the fertiliser by half. As for the wheat, we had an average yield of 6300kg/ha, while sunflower yielded 3500kg crops/ha. After the second year, on wheat we only used 350kg/ha of urea, applied in a single area, at the beginning of March, the yield being 6500kg/ha. I can say that Terracalco is worth all the money, and doesn't have to be tested, but used. “

 

 

Florea Cornea, IF Cornea Florea,  640 ha

“I have purchased Terracalco for the first time in 2019, for a 120-ha area. The dosage I used, from the beginning, was 1 ton/ha. After 2017, in 2018 I involved another 120-ha area, after that, this year, I am going to treat another 12 ha. I decided on this solution because I realised as early as during the first use that working the soil is much easier, the amount of weed variety on the treated surfaces decreased while- the plants cultivated are developing better. “

 

Dan Rogojinaru, Agrodia SRL, 600 ha

“I have been using Terraalo since its debut in 2015 when I started to convert an area of 60 ha with a dosage of 900kg/ha. Since then I've been using it every year, treating 60 to 80ha/year. This year, Terracalco has been applied for barley, too. I recommend using Terracalco because: - it is very easy to transport, being packed in big-bags - it is very easy to spread, being granulated - doesn't require the purchase of a special fertiliser spreader with conveyor belt, it can be spread very easy with a mounted fertiliser spreader - the applied dose is reduced because of the concentration of Terracalco. “

 

IF Șună , 450 ha

„I have used it for the sunflower crops. I have applied it in Spring. I applied on the ploughed soil and embedded it with the disc. The crop boasts lots of vegetative mass, very few dried leaves, full kernels. I will use it on rape seed next, because it seems that the results are pretty good.“

„I am farming on an area of around 160 ha. I've used Terracalco for the first time in 2017, on rape crops. It is a substance that is very easy to apply, I use the solid fertiliser spreader, and the width is 24 meters. Since the first use, in 2017, and until now I have seen an improvement of the soil structure, it became more loose and easier to work, I have also seen an increase in yield. Terracalco is the best and most effective solution in terms of price/quality ratio. I am very pleased with this product and I recommend it to my fellow farmers.“

II Irimita Marius, 280 ha 
Average wheat production 6.8 to/ha: " I applied Terracalco 95 for the first time in 2016; I applied it with an Lelly fertilizer distributor of 1,500 kg. After the application, the soil structure improved; the plants have absorbed the fertilisers much better. Soil acidity has changed from 5 to 6.8 following the application of 800-1,000 kg/ha. I recommend the application of Terracalco 95 because it regulates acidity and improves soil structure, crop yields have been higher, for example for wheat, we have seen an increase of at least 1,000 kg/ha ".

Cristian Andrici, NORDAGROTEHNIK, 1.000 ha

"The area I'm working on is about 1,000 ha. I started using Terracalco 95 last year at my farm due to the fact that following thorough soil analyses we discovered important micro and macroelements blockages due to acidic pH (5.3-6). I chose this product because I did not have to change the array of machines for application and I applied it with the usual fertiliser spreader, because of the high buffering capacity and implicitly, i.e. because a small amount is used per HA and you don’t have very high handling and transportation costs. What is very important from my point of view is that the incorporation into the soil is immediate, i.e. it has immediate effects which are quickly noticeable. Last year we applied between 700 and 1000 kg/ha and after about 3 months after application and 30 mm precipitation the ph changed to 6.2-6.3. The surprise came this year when I worked that land in spring  and it did not make crust, and now in the summer the land was very easy to work. So there are benefits from this point of view as well. This year on the areas where we applied Terracalco 95 and with a fertilization I obtained more than 8 to wheat/ha, which demonstrates that with the modification of the ph were unlocked other elements in the soil too.

I highly recommend this product to all farmers with soil acidity problems. "

 

How it works:

• Physically, by improving soil structure, soil aeration, better water absorbtion, higher soil resistance to drought, without puddles and excessive crusts.

• Chemically, by increasing soil ph, unlocking the beneficial macro and micronutrients that are found in soil, but are blocked.

• Biologically, by visibly improving the habitat for the small creatures in the soil, and also by overall improvement of microbial life, able to make all the necessary nutrients available for plants after using Terracalco.

Also, Terracalco brings savings to the budget by increasing production quantitatively as well as qualitatively, adjusting the fertiliser dose/surface unit, reducing the diesel consumption for all work on the surface where we applied, and also through better resistance of the machine parts and of course by reducing the amount of time needed, which is the most important, by easing all the work on the soil as well as by means of shortening the time needed for performing the soil amendment works on the fields.

Terracalco 95 – top of the range, granulated, 2-8 mm, with the highest neutralizing power (175-185) of any existing amendment, can be spread over a distance of 24-36 m. It is packed in a double big bag and the recommended dose is between 300 kg and 2000 kg; It is the product of the year in Hungary, but appreciated by farmers all over the world. It is incorrectly called product although it is practically a pure active substance. In Romania, we have many farmers who have been using it and will be using it. It is for certain, that there are several producers among your neighbours who are already have been using Terracalco 95.
 

Who should apply Terracalco?

Farmers who have problems with plowing, heavy soil, acidic pH, alkaline pH based on Na, farmers who apply enough fertilizers but have no results, agricultural producers who will increase the organic substance on the soils they work. Agro-entrepreneurs who understand that they must have better yields, both in terms of quality and quantity.

Questions and answers:

Okay, but why did my soil get acidifed? Or why is it harder from year to year?

There are a lot of aspects. First of all, we are discussing natural or artificial acidity. The natural one is due exclusively to our soil, its origin and the constituents composing it. This type of soil is generally found in the Subcarpathian regions, Transilvania, some parts of Moldova. The soils here are usually hard, with clay >30%.

We notice that the second type of acidity, the artificial one, appears in all areas of the country, without differences. We find at Carani (Timiş) ph of 4.3, we find in Ialomiţa 5.2. Why? Well, for several reasons, such as: applying fertilisers "by ear", without a fertilization technology, poorly implemented agro-technical works in inappropriate time of the year, too high or too low humidity of the soil, excessive rainfall, just to name a few. The good news is that this kind of acidity is very easy to fight off. With an appropriate dose of Terracalco one can solve the problem. But should you do after reaching a pH of 6.5 or over? Forget about Terracalco?

No. The Association of Producers of nitrogen fertilisers, EUFERTILIZERS, even recommends it for buffering the harmful effects of nitrogen:

Thus, it can be understood from the table that for each 100 kg ammonium nitrate that we apply, we use 100 kg Terracalco 95, for each 100 kg of urea to use 100 kg Terracalco 95 and for each 100 kg of nitrolimestone that we apply to use 50 kg Terraca Lco 95, just to alleviate the harmful effects of nitrogen we're applying. So it a good idea to include Terracalco 95 as well when you develop your culture technology.
